England Under-18s finished second at the 2013 Holland Nordic Basketball Tournament, failing to defend their 2012 title after falling 71-80 to Lithuania’s Sabonis Basketball Academy in the final on Sunday.
Steve Bucknall’s side finished with a 3-2 record over the tournament, racking up wins over BK Ventspils, Netherlands and Gasterra Flames. Tyrell Isaacs, who was the team’s leading scorer last year as well, was named MVP of the tournament after averaging 16.4 points per outing through the five games.
