Video: Sayers Drops 33, Brunel vs LSBU
In what was billed as a battle of the two undefeated teams remaining in the BUCS Premier South, two weeks ago Brunel took on LSBU in front of packed out bleachers at Brunel University. The game lived up to the hype, with the game remaining neck and neck throughout and a number of nice plays, the game turned out to be one of the most exciting I’ve watched in a long time.
Former England Under-18 Louis Sayers dropped 33 for Brunel, and despite sending the game to overtime as he sank a baseline three with under a minute left, missed a number of opportunities to win the game. However, in OT he came through, scoring 8 points and sealing the victory for Brunel.
