England U18 Squad Announced for Belgium Tourney

England Basketball has today released the 12 man England Under-18 squad that will be heading to Belgium over the Christmas period to compete in the Altia Belgacom tournament.

Unlike previous years, the side will not compete in the Haris Tournament in Manchester, where the England Under-16 team will take their place.

The roster for the tournament, chosen from the initial squad that was announced last month, is as follows;

Joe Lockwood (Barking Abbey)
Luke Nelson (Reading Rockets)
Brian Nguru (Westminster Warriors)
Kingsley Okoroh (Findlay Prep, USA)
Tamas Okros (Manchester Magic)
Sam Round (Northants Thunder)
Elliott Sentance (Leicester Warriors)
Morayo Soluade (Unicaja Malaga, Spain)
Connor Stuart (Bucks Hornets)
Theo Turner (Tees Valley Mohawks)

Reserves: Jon Orrells (Bristol Flyers), Jordan Spencer (MK Lions), Jack Wilson (Newcastle Eagles)

Head coach Steve Bucknall’s side will face four games in three days against the likes of of Belgium and Switzerland, along with club teams Canarias Basketball Academy (Spain), USK Prague (Czech Republic), IBBA Berlin (Germany), Atletas Kaunas (Lithuania) and Maccabi Ramat Gan (Israel).
