Derby Trailblazers moved to the top of the table after beating Bradford Dragons in the seventh week of EBL Division 1 action.
Despite having the same record as Bristol and Worthing (6-2), Derby take the top spot on points difference.
There were a number of notable performances over the weekend, such as BA London Leopard Vernon Teel’s 28 point, 15 rebound, 10 assist and 5 steal triple double, Derby player Troy Whittington’s 26 point-9 rebound outing on 12/13 shooting, Steve Vear’s 26 point outing, including 10 straight in the fourth to seal the victory for Medway and Carl Peason’s 18 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists for Leicester.
Prospects Harrison Gamble (1992 born, 23 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists on 9/12 shooting) Lewis Champion (1993 born, 18 points) and Luke Nelson (1995 born, 7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists) all played major roles in Reading’s win. Rema Lascelles (1992 born) had 11 points, 6 rebounds on 4/4 shooting for Derby, whilst Henry Wilkins (1990 born) had 18 for Leeds.
