MVP Issue 4 hits the stands this week (it actually hit WHSmith’s today!), so I’ve been eagerly awaiting the postman every morning, hoping the latest issue of the UK’s only basketball magazine has been delivered to my door.
Today was that day, and after digesting it’s contents almost immediately, I can say with confidence, it doesn’t fail to disappoint!
With Chicago Bulls and GB star Luol Deng on the cover (it was only a matter of time before that happened!), the mag not only does a nice feature story on him, it examines the BBL’s plans for expansion, as well as the women’s Eurobasket in Poland, where GB exceeded expectations.
As the next big thing on the women’s scene, McDonalds All-American and Harvard bound Temi Fagbenle out of London also gets love, along with a sprinkling of NBA coverage, looking back at the Dallas v Miami Finals, as well as an interview with Team USA boss Jerry Colangelo.
Not to mention it features all the latest fashion and kicks, this is not to be missed out on!
Support British basketball and go cop it! It retails at £3.50 and you can find a list of WHSmith’s that stock it here or alternatively can buy it online at at Swish Basketball.
