Washington beat UCLA 70-63 on Thursday night. Matthew Bryan-Amaning played 26 minutes before fouling out, going 3/11 from the floor (1/2 at the line) for 7 points, 13 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal.

North Carolina Central got past South Carolina State 78-62. Joe Ikhinmwin played 20 minutes, going 4/8 from the field for 8 points, 1 rebound and 2 steals.

North Dakota escaped with a 74-70 victory over Houston Baptist. Ben Daniels had 5 points, 1 rebound and 1 steal in 20 minutes, going 2/5 from the field in the loss.

Nevada held on to defeat Louisiana Tech 73-70. Patrick Nyeko had 3 points, 2 rebounds and 1 steal in 20 minutes, going 0/3 from the field and 3/4 at the line.

Central Connecticut State held off St. Francis (N.Y.) 64-62 in the quarterfinals of the Northeast Conference tournament to end a three-game skid. Devan Bailey, usually a starter, was moved to the bench, playing 11 minutes for 1 point, 1 rebound and 1 assist on 0/3 shooting (1/2 at the line). Richard Clark registered a DNP. The fourth-seeded Blue Devils (19-11) will face top-seeded Long Island University in a semifinal on Sunday.

Seton Hall ended a three-game slide with an 84-70 victory. Aaron Geramipoor finished with 1 rebound in 5 minutes.

Robert Morris got past Wagner 78-74 in the Northeast Conference quarterfinals. Clayfell Harris played 1 minute, finishing with an empty statline.

Quinnipiac won over Mount St. Mary’s (Md.) 78-59 in the quarterfinals of the Northeast Conference tournament. Raheem May-Thompson had 2 points and 1 rebound in 7 minutes on 1/1 shooting. No. 2 Quinnipiac will host No. 3 Robert Morris in the tournament semifinals on Sunday — a rematch of the 2010 NEC tournament championship game.
