Eaves Sees College Career End, NCAA Recap

Rhode Island suffered a 66-54 loss on Monday night in the quarter finals of the College Basketball Invitational. In his last college game, Ben Eaves had 8 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist and 1 block in 17 minutes on 3/4 shooting. With the loss, the Rams finish the 2010-11 season with a 20-14 overall mark. The graduating senior finishes his career as one of the winningest players to wear the Keaney Blue. The class of 2011 won 90 games over the last four seasons.

Washington State beat Oklahoma State 74-64 on Monday night in the second round of the NIT. Washington State (21-12) moved into the quarterfinals against Northwestern on Wednesday. Chris McNamara registered a DNP.

SMU defeated Northern Iowa 57-50 in the quarterfinal round of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament at McLeod Center Monday night. The Mustangs are the first team to advance to the CIT semifinals and will host either Santa Clara (21-14) or San Francisco (19-14) at Moody Coliseum on Friday. Myles Luttman registered a DNP.
