Video: Jordan Spencer Comes Up CLUTCH, U16 National League Final
This was, in my opinion, the performance of the England Basketball Junior Final Fours weekend. Under 16 National League Final, Milton Keynes Lions are down 65-61 to the Manchester Magic with 3 minutes and 40 seconds remaining. Jordan Spencer the diminutive Lions point guard not willing to lose another final to the Manchester Magic (Manchester beat Milton Keynes in the Cup Final in February) puts the team on his back and goes on a one man scoring spree, finishing with 11 points in the last 4 minutes to turn a 3 point deficit into a 4 point lead and the win.
Deserved MVP and a truly CLUTCH performance. Just to prove it wasn’t a fluke, he followed this up the next weekend with 49 points and 10 assists in the U16 National Schools final in Nottingham (32 points in the first half!). Big game player.
