The Sheffield Sharks secured a crucial 104-84 victory over the Marshall MK Lions on Thursday night, giving them their ninth straight win. The victory keeps them two points ahead of the Newcastle Eagles.
It was the third straight (huge) loss for the Lions as they will begin to look for answers. Sharks rookie Mike Cook led all scorers with 33, Tafari Toney added 19 and 9 on an uber-efficient 9/12 shooting, whilst Ryan Patton had 14 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals for Sheffield. EJ Harrison led MK with 17 points
