Long Island University secured an 81-75 victory over Sacred Heart on Thursday night, dropping SHU to their sixth straight loss.
The one bright spot however, was 7’0, 235lbs Lincolnshire lad Liam Potter, who finished with a huge game of 10 points (5/7 shooting, 0/3 at the line), 17 rebounds (7 offensive) and 5 blocks in 29 minutes.
Potter is having one of the most impressive seasons of any of the Brits in the NCAA, averaging 9.7 ppg, 7.9 rpg and 2.1 bpg, finishing with a number of double doubles on the season so far.
SHU however, still have work to do, standing 12-12 (5-8 in North East Conference play).
