Marshall MK Lions secured sole possession of third place in the BBL Championship last night with a 97-90 victory over Worcester Wolves in front of a sell out crowd at Middleton Hall.
The Lions ran away from the Wolves in the third quarter, leading 70-56 heading into the fourth. From there on it was a case of holding on, and whilst Worcester did outscore Milton Keynes in the fourth, it wasn’t enough as the Lions secured the 7 point victory.
EJ Harrison led all scorers in the game with 28 points for the Lions, while Rod Middleton led the scoring for the Wolves with 25.
