After 24 hours relegated to second place in the BBL after a Newcastle Eagles victory, the Sheffield Sharks took back what they felt was rightfully theirs after a 107-84 rout of Airwaves Plymouth Raiders, putting them back to the top of the table with less games played than the Eagles.
A 15-2 run in the second period put the Sharks up by 10, and from there on it escalated, with Sheffield leading 59-42 at the half. In the third, it was more of the same with a 16-2 burst pushing the lead to 31 points.
Playing at home, the Sharks were led by Tafari Toney’s 27 pts whilst Drew Lasker had 19 for the Raiders.
