Abodunrin Gabe Olaseni Killin’ at The Pro Classic!

Abodunrin Gabe Olaseni (1991 born) was one of the surprises of the summer for me. Having last seen him on the court in 2009 at Future Stars (skip to 0:47 seconds in the Future Stars vid to see him), where he was just a raw athlete, his improvement since then has been drastic.

At 6’10”, 230lbs, Olaseni has now complemented his athleticism with a mid range jumpshot, back to the basket game and ability to finish with both hands, not to mention great timing defensively to swat shots. The Londoner is heading into his sophomore year at the University of Iowa, after seeing limited action last season.

Check him out in the mini mixtape below – should’ve got a look in with the GB Futures this summer IMO, and I have no doubt he’ll be on GB’s radar in the near future.
