Hoopsfix All-Star Classic 2026

The rosters for the Under-19 Women’s game at the 2026 Hoopsfix All-Star Classic have now been announced.

24 of the top junior talents will take to the court at Crystal Palace on Sunday May 24th for the annual showcase of British Basketball (buy your tickets now!)

Reigning MVP – and current GB Senior international – Irene Oboavwoduo is one of nine returning players from the 2025 edition, and will headline Team Black.

Oboavwoduo has had another big year; playing for Manchester in the SLB and earning a spot on the All-British team ahead of a move to the University of Tennessee.

Bo Frost is set for a Classic debut after being unavailable last year, and is another young talent that has been part of the GB Senior setup. The versatile forward leads Team White after a solid campaign in the SLB with Oaklands Wolves, and will play alongside youngster sister Isey Frost, who impressed for GB Under-16s last summer as their leading scorer.

WEABL champions CoLA are again well represented with five selections including Finals MVP Adaora Dioramma, who makes a third appearance ahead of a move to Hofstra. The dominant big is joined on Team Black by returning teammates Debra Wilson-Osuide and Monife Abidekun as well as debutante Chloe Vella, who is set to become the latest Brit to play for Columbia next season.

Maryland-bound Eva-Grace Yebila is back for another year, on Team White, having been named Most Improved Player in the South Conference of the WEABL, while regular season MVP Ayla Habbal is unavailable.

Two of Nottingham’s Under-18 champions will go head-to-head with the returning Tiarna Chambers-Desmond – MVP of the WEABL’s Northern Conference – on Team White up against first-time selection Ophelia Larder-Lee, who earned All-First Team and Defensive Player honours in the WEABL. Both players had extensive playing time as part of the SLB squad.

Holly Ensoll will patrol the paint for Team Black off the back of averages of 15.1 points, 14.9 rebounds and 4.4 blocks per game in the WEABL with Copleston teammate Kaiya Bateman making a debut in the backcourt.

There’s also a first appearance for Jahveina Whyte with fellow Copleston guard Maisie Keyes helping run the point for Team White having made the All-South First Team alongside Ensoll in the WEABL.

Ella Wright has been part of Sheffield Hatters’ successful SLB roster this season with the guard making a debut in the Classic on Team Black, alongside Bristol wing Nina Wadda and Sheffield big Katie Hancock.

Barking Abbey guard Kamilah Yakubu rounds out the Team Black lineup, and is set to matchup with club teammate Sharliyah Sutherland, who also earns a debut appearance after picking up Finals MVP honours in the NBL D2 playoffs.

Also on Team White, Scottish guard/forward Alix McIntosh has had another productive year for Caledonia Gladiators to mark yet another Classic appearance, while Fleur Gamal suited up for Manchester and makes a debut.

Holly Welch had a strong season in the WEABL with Oaklands, as did Grace Nzeakor with Charnwood after claiming the Most Improved Player award in the North, while Anna Idiata Mendez is the sole Itchen representative to add versatile play from the wing position.
