A Hoopsfix Select squad will take part in the inaugural Niners Winter Showcase, a new competitive platform launched by the Surrey 89ers to support the development of emerging British basketball talent.
The tournament will take place at Surrey Sports Park on 29–30 December 2025, and is designed to provide high-quality competitive experiences for young players at a critical stage of their development with a focus on the under-21 age bracket.
Alongside Hoopsfix Select, the showcase will feature Surrey 89ers, London Lions (featuring their U18 squad intending to compete in the NextGen Euroleague tournament), and CoLA Select bringing together players from respected programmes within an environment centred on competition, learning, and progression through meaningful game experiences.
The Hoopsfix Select squad, who will be coached by Barking Abbey’s Rikki Broadmore, will be made up of the following players:

11 AM | Third Place Game
1:30 PM | Championship Final
7:30 PM | Surrey 89ers vs Newcastle Eagles (SLB Championship game)
All games will take place at the Surrey Sports Park, home of the Surrey 89ers Basketball, with entrance free for spectators.
