British duo Cameron Hildreth and Matt Marsh helped Wake Forest to upset No. 8 Duke, 79-83, at home on Saturday evening in a sold out arena.
The former Sussex Storm guard delivered a solid performance, on his way to 12 points, four rebounds and three steals in 35 minute on the court.
Hildreth is averaging 13.5 points and 4.8 rebounds on the season, while shooting 44.5% from two and 36.1% from three-point land in his Junior year.
Matt Marsh scored 2 points on a thunderous dunk off the bench in 7 minutes for Wake Forest.
The duo played a part in a slice of history in front of a record crowd 14,744; the first sellout of the programme since 2017.
The Demon Deacons took down Duke in an important game as they look to clinch their NCAA Tournament spot. They sit at the fourth spot of the Atlantic Coast Conference with a 18-9, 10-6 Conference record.
Following the final whistle of the game, home fans stormed the court leaving Duke star Kyle Filipowski hobbled after a collision with a fan, reopening the debate over the danger of court storming.
The seven footer was seen with a bag of ice on his right knee, however, no info was given about his injury.
Cameron Hildreth, Matt Marsh and Wake Forest will take on Notre-Dame away on Tuesday.
