BBL signs U.S. broadcast deal with New England Sports Network

The British Basketball League has announced a broadcast deal with New England Sports Network (NESN), providing sports fans in the New England region TV access to the sport for the 2023/24 season.

NESN will bring the action of British Basketball League games to basketball enthusiasts in the six New England states; Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

Viewers will be able to view two live games each week, airing one on Thursdays and one on Fridays, alongside a brand-new magazine show, UNBEATABLE.

Fans can tune in via various platforms, including NESN, NESN+, NESN National, and NESN 360.

“New England has some of the most dedicated sports fans on the planet,” BBL CEO Aaron Radin commented.

“This deal with NESN and the British Basketball League will bring international competition to their fingertips and will give us the privilege of welcoming these fans into the fold of British basketball.

“As the CEO of the League, and as an American, I am profoundly excited about the potential these collaborations hold, not only for our players and teams but for basketball fans worldwide.”

This partnership signifies another step forward for the League as it aims to expand its global footprint and grow an international audience.

New England sports fans can catch today’s game – Manchester Giants v Bristol Flyers – on NESN, with coverage starting from 2:30pm EDT.
