Eastern Washington to play Hoopsfix Select in Essex

NCAA Division 1 school Eastern Washington University will be coming to London August 16-19 and taking on a Hoopsfix Select team on August 18 at Essex Sport Arena, University of Essex.

The trip, part of on an 11-day tour in both England and Spain, will be a homecoming for junior forward Ethan Price.

Price, a former Hoopsfix All-Star Classic alumnus and now a two-time All-Big Sky performer and 2021-22 Big Sky Freshman of the Year, competed at nearby Ipswich Basketball Academy and club for eight years, and for the Essex Rebels of England’s NBL Division I.

The Hoopsfix Select team he and his squad will face will be made up of a number of familiar faces for Price, including former teammates plus a couple of top British prospects, and will be coached by his former coaches Nick Drane from Ipswich and Ross Norfolk from Essex.

The game will be hosted as a partnership between Hoopsfix and the University of Essex/Essex Rebels.
