Finley Woodward has helped West Liberty University to the second straight Mountain East Conference Tournament title, after a 112-82 rout of Fairmont State in the final.
Woodward had 8 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in the championship game, as the top-seeded Hilltoppers become the first team in MEC history to win back-to-back tournament titles and the +30 margin is the largest victory in a championship game in tournament history.

They have now earned a bid to the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Tournament as a No. 2 seed and will take on No. 7 Pitt-Johnstown in the opening round on Saturday at 2:30 pm local.
In his Freshman year, the former Bristol Flyer and Scottish junior international is averaging 3.3 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 10.7 minutes per game.
