Hoopsfix All-Star Classic coaching clinic returns

The second ever Hoopsfix All-Star Classic Coaching Clinic will be taking place on Saturday May 28th at Crystal Palace.

With CPD opportunities for coaches continuing to be hard to come by, the Hoopsfix All-Star Classic will provide 3 hours of on court and off court sessions with four leading coaches from the UK in the morning ahead of the junior British basketball showcase.

For the two on court sessions, Mark Clark will be talking about his man to man defensive principles that the London Lions WBBL side used this season while dominating all competitions, and Surrey Scorchers’ Creon Raftopolous will share fast break and transition basketball drills used to build up an uptempo offence along with player development tips on coaching good habits.

Then in the classroom, City of London Academy’s Jackson Gibbons will discuss building team culture after a near perfect season with an all Under-19 team, and Solent Kestrels’ Adam Sewell will breakdown how they engage players through their unique video analysis and scouting system.
