Kennedy Leonard broke the single-game assists record in the WBBL for a second time after registering 22 assists in London Lions’ latest league win on Sunday.
The 25-year-old point guard set the new mark having previously recorded 21 against Caledonia Pride in last season’s debut campaign with the Lions.

Leonard also added 16 points and six steals to the 22 assists in the 117-51 win over Gloucester City Queens as London moved to 4-0 at the top of the WBBL Championship, alongside Sheffield Hatters.
The assists tally takes Leonard to 276 in WBBL league play – moving into 12th place on the all-time leaderboard with new teammate Holly Winterburn currently in 10th spot with 313.
