LONDON LIONS OUT OF BCL

London Lions lost 89-62 to Treviso to exit the Basketball Champions League in the opening qualifying round.

It was deja vu for the BBL outfit who departed at the same stage last season.

The Lions will now drop into the initial group stages of the FIBA Europe Cup.

Two of their three group opponents are already known.

Kapfenberg Bulls of Austria who also lost in BCL qualifying, and Romanian side Oradea.
