RJ Eytle-Rock has been named to the America East All-Rookie team after an impressive first year at UMBC.
The GB Under-20 guard averaged 4.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 28 appearances having taking over the starting point guard role in December.

Eytle-Rock had a season-high of 13 points in last month’s win at Binghamton – putting up 6.4 points and 3.6 rebounds per outing during conference play.
UMBC went 19-12 on the season including 11-5 in the America East as they head into the post-season tournament as the third seeds with a matchup against Albany. [UPDATE: UMBC secured a 62-54 win to move into the semi-finals]
Eytle-Rock also missed the last two games of the regular season through injury having seen his production increase over recent weeks.
Team-mate Dan Akin also battled through injury with 7.4 points per game over seven appearances on the season.
