London City Royals, BBL’s Newest Franchise, Begin Life at Crystal Palace

The London City Royals, the BBL’s newest franchise, came into the league with a lot of fanfare – so we headed down to Crystal Palace National Sports Centre for their first home game as they took on Surrey Scorchers to find out what the deal is.

With a focus on British basketball talent, the Royals have signed the likes of Matthew Bryan-Amaning, Ashley Hamilton, Ed Lucas, Orlan Jackman, Will Neighbour, Elvisi Dusha and more, whilst being coached by former England and GB international Junior Williams.
