Ashley Hamilton has signed with Basquet Manresa in Spain’s LEB Gold ahead of the 2017-18 season, it was recently announced.
The German-born forward has played the majority of his pro career in the Italian leagues, but is heading for a new challenge in the second division of Spain.
Hamilton has spent the past two seasons at Lavrio in Greece A1, averaging 8.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game in 28 appearances during the 2016-17 campaign.
As well as playing for four different teams in Italy, Hamilton also had an impressive season out in Ukraine with Cherkasy in 2014-15, where he put up numbers of 14.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

Manresa were relegated from the Liga Endesa last season after finishing bottom with a 5-27 record and Hamilton will be hoping to help the club back into the top-flight.
Jesse Chuku has also swapped for Greece for Spain having signed for Coruna, who will do battle with Hamilton’s Manresa this season.
