Zak Wells is heading overseas this season after joining Hopsi Polzela in Slovenia’s top-flight.
The 7’0″ centre spent part of pre-season in Italy with Serie A2 side Siena before making his switch to Slovenia.

Wells played a full season at Leeds Force in the 2015-16 campaign and averaged 8.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game after an injury had forced him to miss most of the previous year.
However, the former GB Under-20 international made his Senior debut for GB in a summer friendly against New Zealand and was also part of this summer’s initial 24-man squad.
Hopsi Polzela are part of the 12-team Liga NovaBKM and start their league campaign this weekend.
