Check out England Under-16 Nelson Boachie-Yiadom (1999 born) impressing with the England U16s in their three game series vs Sweden in Oaklands a couple of weeks back.
Boachie-Yiadom was England’s leading scorer in the three game series, averaging 15.3 points per game, including a series-high 21 in Game 2.
Nelson’s performances were not enough however, as England went 0-3 against Sweden. The Under-16s are preparing for the Division A European Championships in Lithuania this summer, where they have been drawn in Group A against Turkey, Germany and Russia.
The 6’7″ London Westside forward is widely regarded as the best 1999 born prospect in the country, having been invited to the Jordan Brand Classic International Tour in March, along with fellow ’99 Jacob Iwowo.
