Zaire Taylor Drops 41 on Former Team in BBL Playoffs Quarter-Final

Taylor was the league and playoff final MVP last season with Worcester Wolves, and he produced an impressive performance to eliminate his former side from this year’s playoffs at the quarter-finals stage.

The 28-year-old American shot 13-17 from the field including 7-11 from 3-point range, whilst also adding four assists and three steals to help the Lions to a crushing 106-67 win in the second leg.

London came into the playoffs as the sixth seeds, and have beaten top-four sides Worcester and Cheshire Phoenix on their way to the playoff final.

Taylor is looking to capture his third successive playoffs title on Sunday, when London Lions take on Newcastle Eagles at the O2 Arena.
