Taiwo Badmus (’93) KILLS the Summer at Midnight Madness & Famfest!

There may be no-one who made more of a name for himself last summer than 1993 born Taiwo Badmus.

Badmus dominated Midnight Madness all summer long, being named their ‘Mr Midnight Madness’ as the standout player of their event and showed out at Famfest to assert himself as a late bloomer on the British basketball scene.

Having only started playing at 16 years old, Badmus started at South London Macpro moving onto NASSA in Division 1 while also playing at Hackney Community College.

Last summer, he showed up at the Midnight Madness Loughborough qualifier, dominating the competition, before continuing his run at the All Nighter, Boot Camp and Finals Night.

No longer in the UK, Badmus got a scholarship to NCAA Division 2 school Fairmont State University as a mid-season transfer, where there 6’6″ wing is enrolled for his sophomore year.
