BBL Week 6 – Highlights Round-up

The latest BBL highlights round-up features all three BBL Cup quarter-finals including an impressive win for Bristol and extended coverage of Sheffield’s success.

BBL new-boys Bristol Flyers pulled off arguably their biggest win with a 90-82 win on the road at Worcester Wolves to reach the semi-finals. Doug Herring Jr came up big for the visitors with 32 points while Alif Bland and Greg Streete added 17 and 16 points respectively.

Newcastle Eagles used a dominant third quarter to see off Leeds Force in the BBL Cup quarter-finals with an 83-66 victory. The visitors had all five starters in double figures while the Eagles were led by 22 points from Charles Smith.

Sheffield Sharks held off the challenge of Cheshire Phoenix to book their own passage into the semi-finals with a 91-84 victory. Allen Payne and Nick Lewis combined for 40 points from the bench while point guard BJ Holmes added 20 points of his own. Over 60 minutes of action below:
