Hoopsfix is to begin doing live screenings of NBA games in London for the 2014-15 season, after teaming up with NBA Fans London who had a successful debut year last season.
‘Hoopsfix Live’ will begin with NBA games with the intention of expanding out to EuroLeague and GB games in the future.
Matt Clear and Sean Backhurst, the founders of NBA Fans London, will come under the Hoopsfix banner to run Hoopsfix Live, showing games on large HD screens at Belushi’s Dugout in London Bridge approximately once a month (schedule dependent) entirely for free.
With plenty of comfortable seating, a wide selection of drinks & hot food (that you’ll need to pay for), plus a room full of NBA fans (and the odd giveaway!), it will be the only place in the capital to come together for a live basketball experience.
“Our first screenings last year showed that Londoners are definitely looking for a place to watch the NBA live,” Matt Clear said.
“We’re excited to be teaming up with Hoopsfix to bring more awesome basketball action to fans this season.”
The first viewing will be to watch GB’s very own Joel Freeland in action with the Portland Trail Blazers as they take on the Los Angeles Clippers at 8:30pm on Saturday 8th November – join the Facebook event here.
