GB Players Join In on Ice Bucket Challenge Craze

The ALS ice-bucket challenge is the latest craze across the globe and some of Great Britain’s Senior Men players have had a go themselves at the internet sensation.

Celebrities all over the world have completed the challenge, which has now helped raise close to $16m for ALS, widely known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease; a progressive neurodegenerative disease. NBA stars LeBron James and Kobe Bryant are amongst those to have taken part and GB’s Kieron Achara, Ashley Hamilton and Luol Deng have now taken their turn.

It’s a fairly simple, yet shuddering task to complete as the person must have a bucket of ice water poured over them before nominating a peer to follow suit and Achara opted to choose National Teams Director Warwick Cann.

Watch the efforts of Achara, Hamilton and Deng below and see how Warwick responded to the call-out.
