February Brings Foot Locker’s ‘Approved Heat’ – New Releases All Month!

Since its debut last year, sneaker freaks will now know February as ‘Approved Heat’ month, as Foot Locker drop the hottest basketball products in stores across Europe throughout February, bringing sneaker and basketball fans the best from top brands such as Nike, Jordan, adidas, Reebok and, for the first time in Europe, Converse.

We got to see the collection of more than 100 sneakers and apparel at the O2 Arena prior to the NBA game in January, and to say it meets the needs of every hooper would be an understatement.

Given the tour of the range by Chinks – Foot Locker’s product buyer, and Steve Brydon a sneaker enthusiast, we were shown the latest styles and the biggest brands, from Nike Retro Jordans to the D Rose adidas range to the Reebok Pumps, along with having a Q&A session with Steve Smith and an NBA skills session on the court with Smith and John Amaechi.

Some of the hottest releases to note in this year’s Approved Heat campaign are the Nike Foamposite Spiderman, the Converse Aero Jam, the exclusive Jordan SC3 and the All Star Game packs to include East v West apparel.

People will also be waiting on the Jordan collection which will feature exclusive Flight sneakers in a range of colourways. Other anticipated drops include the Jordan Retro 6 Infrared and also the Powder Blue range for tees and casual wear.

The adidas D Rose sneaker range will be sure to fly off the shelves as in previous years but a 2014 campaign highlight to note is the release of adidas Roundhouse shoes in ‘Nets’ ‘Heat’ and ‘Kicks’ editions.

The Reebok Pump, a classic, celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2014. To celebrate they are back in the form of the Pump Omni lite which features in a bold navy/neon yellow colourway as well as the ‘Cement’ edition in white/navy red.

You can check out the full collection, release dates and further information, images, promotions and much more at www.footlocker.eu/approvedheat, and of course get down to your local Foot Locker to check it all out in person!
