GB U20s Suffer Last Minute Collapse vs Israel

The Great Britain Under-20s continue to search for their first win at the Division B European Championships in Bulgaria after going down 49-43 to Israel on Friday afternoon.

Despite leading by three for the majority of the final minutes, devastating turnovers in the last 60 seconds allowed Israel to take the lead and pull out the win.

Shequila Joseph had 9 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists to lead GB, with Melita Emanuel-Carr adding 9 and Harriet Ottewill-Soulsby pulling down 11 boards.

GB will now face Romania on Saturday afternoon at 2pm UK time.
