Great Britain guard Justin Robinson has signed with Greek side Maroussi BC for his rookie year.

Maroussi BC, based in a northern suburb of Athens, compete in the A1 League in Greece where they went 13-13 for a fifth place finish last season after getting knocked out in the first round of the playoffs.

The 6’2″ combo guard has just graduated from Rider, where he was named All-MAAC first team in his senior year after averaging 15.3 ppg, 3.8 apg and 2.8 rpg in just under 34 minutes per outing, finishing amongst the nation’s leaders in free throw shooting (90.9%) and three point shooting (42.7%).

The former Brixton Topcat made the final Great Britain Senior Men’s roster last year but was released from training camp this summer. It is widely expected he will be in contention to re-gain his roster spot next year for the 2012 Olympics.

Hoopsfix wants to wish Justin all the best with his professional career! We will be following.
