The NBA 2011-2012 schedule was released on Tuesday, and confirmed the league’s intentions to keep on expanding into the UK market with regular season games scheduled at the O2 arena, London for the second consecutive year.
New Jersey Nets will face off against Orlando Magic on March 7th and 8th, bringing two of the league’s marquee stars, in Dwight Howard and Deron Williams, to British shores.
It will be Williams’ second trip to London, after the Nets played here last season in front of sell-out crowds immediately after his trade to the Eastern Conference.
The games however, will depend on a solution being found to the current NBA lockout between players and owners which is likely to delay the start of this season and has resulted in a number of players looking to play overseas, including Williams himself who has signed with Besiktas in Turkey.
If the NBA games in London do go ahead, will you be there?
