Coach Nick Nurse is happy with how his team are progressing:
“We were pleased to start the competition and get contribution from all the players. Now we need to build on this with the two official games to come in the next few days.”
Head of performance at British Basketball, Warwick Cann, was also happy with the performance:
“It was a good start and response to what the coach asked for.
“The GB Futures programme is about grabbing your opportunity and working your way into the senior team.”
