Matthew Bryan-Amaning and the University of Washington won their second straight Pac-1o tournament championship after guard Isaiah Thomas his a fadeaway jumper at the buzzer to lift Washington to a 77-75 win over Arizona on Saturday night.
The third-seeded Huskies (23-10) earned the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. Matthew Bryan-Amaning had 9 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal before fouling out in 24 minutes. He went 3/10 from the floor and 3/4 at the line.
Boston University got a 56-54 win over Stony Brook in the conference championship game Saturday. Danny Carter had 2 points, 7 rebounds in 27 minutes going 1/3 from the floor in the loss.

Washington finally shook Oregon to advance to the Pac-10 tournament title game with a 69-51 victory Friday night. Matthew Bryan-Amaning had 6 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocked shots in 25 minutes, going 2/9 from the field and 2/2 at the line.
The top-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes beat Northwestern 67-61 in overtime Friday. Alex Marcotullio had 6 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block in 44 minutes, going 2/7 from the floor. While the Buckeyes are in line for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament, Northwestern likely needed an improbable run to the conference tournament title to earn its first NCAA appearance.
Patrick Mitchell made two free throws with a second remaining and North Dakota beat Houston Baptist 65-63 in the Great West Conference tournament semifinals Friday night. Ben Daniels had 3 points, 1 rebound and 1 steal in 8 minutes, going 1/3 from the field in the loss.
