Ogo, Bonnies Survive 4OT Thriller, NCAA Recap

St. Bonaventure survived the longest game in school history to beat Ohio 112-107 in four overtimes Saturday night. Ogo Adegboye played 59 minutes (!), scoring 13 points, along with 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. He struggled shooting the ball, going 5/13 from the field whilst also turning the ball over 8 times.

Elsewhere…
Washington coasted to an 80-52 victory over San Francisco. Matthew Bryan-Amaning was back in his starting spot, finishing 1 rebound short of a double double with 10 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block in 26 minutes, whilst shooting 5/8 from the field (0/1 at the line).

Loyola (MD) lost 99-75 to Georgetown. Shane Walker had 8 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 2 blocks in 28 minutes in the loss, shooting 2/7 from the field and 4/4 at the line.

Rhode Island got a 64-52 win over New Hampshire. Ben Eaves played 20 minutes, finishing with 9 points on 2/8 field goal shooting (4/4 at the line), 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block.

Portland State lost 78-67 to Portland. Paul Guede saw 16 minutes off the bench, going 0/2 from the floor and 2/2 at the line for 2 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals.

Rutgers broke open what was a nip-and-tuck game and overwhelmed Monmouth (N.J.) 79-56. Phil Wait registered 5 minutes for Monmouth, grabbing 1 rebound and blocking 2 shots.

Saint Peter’s got a 60-57 win over Fairleigh Dickinson. Sam Fernley registered a DNP.

Appalachian State held off a late rally, beating Robert Morris 71-66. Ryan Kilmartin registered a DNP.

SMU held on for a 70-67 victory at Division III McMurry. Myles Luttman registered a DNP.

Fri 17th December…
Northern Iowa got past South Carolina State 66-52 Friday night in a first-round game of the iBN Las Vegas Classic. Joe Ikhinmwin played 14 minutes before fouling out, finishing with 2 points, 2 rebounds and 1 steal whilst shooting 1/6 from the field.

Arizona State held off Nevada for a 78-75 victory. Patrick Nyeko played 1 minute finishing with an empty statline.

Colorado got an 89-61 victory over The Citadel. Morakinyo Williams DNP.

Princeton pulled away to beat Wagner 69-57. Clayfell Harris registered a DNP.

Thursday 16th December…
Northwestern remained undefeated with a 78-62 victory over American U. on Thursday night. Alex Marcotullio played 17 minutes, going 1/4 from the field, for 2 points, 3 assists and 3 steals.

Campbell past South Carolina-Upstate 67-60 on Thursday night in Atlantic Sun play. Larry Awosanya registered a DNP.

Missouri avenged last season’s defeat with an 81-62 victory over Oral Roberts. Mikey Manghum registered a DNP.
