Robinson & Hamilton Warm Up for Showdown

As if in preparation for their anticipated matchup today, both Justin Robinson and Ashley Hamilton had impressive games last night for their respective teams. Rider and LMU will be facing off today at 12.00pm ET.

Ashley Hamilton scored 16 points to help Loyola Marymount hold off Dowling in a 78-71 win. Hamilton played 21 minutes, going 4/4 from the floor and 8/9 at the line,  whilst grabbing 7 rebounds. Justin Robinson scored 18 points, leading Rider to a 76-61 win over TCU on Saturday. He went 6/12 from the floor and 5/6 at the line, adding 3 rebounds and 3 assists in 29 minutes.

Arizona State hit a 3-pointer with 2.2 seconds left to secure a 69-66 win over UAB. Ovie Soko played 33 minutes in the starting forward spot for UAB, going 4/8 from the field and 2/4 at the line for 10 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 2 blocks.

Elsewhere, Rhode Island beat Toledo 75-66. Ben Eaves had 8 points and 5 rebounds off the bench, going 3/5 from the floor (2/3 threes) and 0/1 at the line.

Levi Noel scored a season high 10 points as Eastern Illinois topped Indiana-South Bend 57-40 for their first win of the season. Noel played 19 minutes, going 4/9 from the floor (2/3 triples), and added two rebounds.

Portland State held off Lamar 102-98. Paul Guede scored 8 points on 3/3 shooting (1/2 at the line), adding 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal.

Central Connecticut State defeated Maryland-Baltimore County 82-74. Devan Bailey played 28 minutes before fouling out, going 2/3 from the field for 5 points, adding 1 rebound, 3 assists, 1 steal and 3 blocks.

Providence Friars came away with a 78-62 victory over Prairie View A&M to go 4-0. Lee Goldsbrough played 6 minutes, going 1/2 from the floor for 2 points and 2 rebounds.

College of Charleston defeated Illinois-Chicago 78-66. Andrew Lawrence played 18 minutes, going 1/4 from beyond the arc for three points, adding 1 rebound and 1 assist.

James Madison defeat The Citadel 74-67. Morakinyo Williams played 5 minutes grabbing 1 rebound.

Vermont handed Quinnipiac its first loss of the season on Saturday, 79-75. Raheem May-Thompson played 6 minutes, going 0/1 from the floor for 0 points whilst blocking 1 shot.

Albany (N.Y.) routed Fairleigh Dickinson 72-46. Sam Fernley played 1 minute with an empty statline.

UC Riverside held off a barrage of 3-point shots from SMU to win 73-69. Myles Luttman registered a DNP. Indiana State got a 74-69 victory over Oral Roberts. Mikey Manghum registered a DNP. Campbell defeated Auburn 61-54. Daniel Awosanya registered a DNP.
