First Ever National Player Rankings Released
Today Hoopsfix releases the first ever national player rankings in the UK, aptly called the Hoopsfix National Player Rankings. The rankings name and list in order of ability and potential the top 15 British basketball players in each age group, for those born in 1987 through to 1995.
The rankings were compiled working with a number of different coaches from across the country (who will remain anonymous for obvious reasons). Using pre-selected depth charts for each age group, each coach was asked to select their top 15 and rank accordingly. All data was then collated and using a point-scoring system the overall rankings were ascertained.
Featuring the likes of Joel Freeland, Dan Clark, Ryan Richards, and Devon Van Oostrum, the Hoopsfix National Player Rankings are the ultimate authority stamp on British basketball talent.
Player profiles are still to be added, but the rankings are now available to view by scrolling over the player rankings tab on the top left of the page and selecting the respective age group you would like to view. The rankings will be updated over the course of the season based on players’ performances.
