Scotland and Wales To Meet in 5th Place Playoff
Wales will take on Scotland for 5th place
It will be an all-British 5th place playoff in the FIBA European Division C championships after both Scotland and Wales smashed their classification games.
Wales recorded a 32 point rout over San Marino before Scotland cruised to a 36 point victory over Gibraltar, meaning the two will meet today in a battle for a 5th place finish.
The Welsh side were led by Michael Gregory’s 16 points and 9 rebounds whilst Anthony Trigg had 14 points and 8 rebounds (box score and play by play). In Scotland win over Gibraltar, veteran Ike Attah had 24 points and 9 rebounds backed up by 10 and 6 from Simon Flockhart (box score and play by play).
The 5th place playoff will take place today at 13.30.
