It's gonna be big..

The third annual Future Stars International Junior Basketball Tournament will take place next weekend down in Kingston, Surrey, from the 9th-11th July 2010. The tournament, as always, features some of the top under 18 talent in Europe, with the National teams from England, France, Sweden, Croatia and Poland taking part. There will also be a host team; Richmond Select featuring some of the best young English players from the South East.

Based on what I saw last year, this is a tournament not to be missed! If you don’t believe me-check out the Top 10 Plays From Future Stars 2009 that I put together for last year’s tournament…

Future Stars is more than just a basketball tournament though; they have teamed up with the Luol Deng Foundation to deliver a community basketball clinic for boys and girls aged between 11 and 19 years old over three days from the 5th-7th July at Kingston College. On top of that an international coaching conference will take place from the 10th-11th July featuring renowned coaches Slobodan Subotic and Zare Markovski

See a full schedule of the tournament at the Future Stars Website. Entrance is ONLY £5 per day, do not miss a chance to see some of the top talent in Europe for next to nothing!
