The England Under 15 boys were crowned champions at the Copenhagen Invitational Basketball Tournament 2010 yesterday after beating Iceland 86-77 in the final. Ben Mead led the scoring with 27, Terrell Isaacs finished with 16, whilst Kingsley Okoroh had a huge triple double with 16 points, 11 rebounds and 11 blocks.
Scotland U16’s also put in a respectable performance taking third place overrall after beating Berlin 62-60 in the third place playoff. The Scotland U14’s weren’t so successful going 1-4 to finish bottom in their age group.
Three Brits made the All Tournament Team; Dwayne Orija, Matthew Wilcox and Kingsley Okoroh.
