Walker and Loyola Beat Robinson’s Broncs

There was another battle of the Brits last night, with Northampton baller Shane Walker’s Loyola of Maryland going up again London’s Justin Robinson and Rider in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play. Loyola held Rider scoreless for the last 2:37 to hold on for an 80-73 win and complete a regular-season sweep of the Broncs.

Walker, a 6’10, 211lbs forward, led Loyola with a strong double double of 12 points and 12 rebounds, adding 1 assist and 1 steal to complete his line. He shot 4/6  from the field, 0/1 from three point land and 4/5 at the line.

Justin Robinson led all scorers with 19 points (6/14 shooting, 3/6 from three point range, 4/4 from the line), and also had 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals.

The Greyhounds are now 11-12 (4-9 in MAAC) whilst the Broncs now stand at 1 game above .500 at 13-12 (6-7 in MAAC play).
