The Washington Huskies seem to be back on form with a 79-56 drubbing of Arizona State on Saturday.
The Huskies and Sun Devils are in a five-way tie for second place in the scrambled conference, one game behind California. Seven games remain in the league’s regular season.
In a sub-plot of the game, there was a battle of Brits, with Washington’s Matthew-Bryan Amaning going up against Arizona’s Eric Boateng.
Bryan-Amaning finished with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks but finished a disappointing 5-13 from the field. Boateng had 9 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 blocks, shooting 4-9 from the field.
Washington are now 16-7 (6-5 Pac-10), whilst Arizona are now 16-8 (6-5 in Pac-10).
