It’s time for March Madness once again, and there’s British involvement to keep an extra focus on during the 2026 NCAA Tournament.

Thursday, 19th March vs North Carolina [5] – 10:50pm (UK time) – Tampa
Back-to-back appearances for Michael Belle after VCU defended its Atlantic-10 tournament title. Belle had 12 points and six rebounds in the Championship victory over Dayton.
The guard/forward averaged 7.5 points and 5.1 rebounds coming off the bench in his junior year, with a best of 20 points on 9-of-11 shooting coming back in January. VCU have a tough First Round matchup with UNC to start their tourney on Thursday evening.
Friday, 20th March vs Akron [12] – 4:40pm (UK time) – Greenville
It’s also another March Madness showing for Luke Bamgboye having transferred from VCU to Texas Tech. His side had a 22-10 record on the season, but were beaten by Iowa State in their Big 12 tournament opener.
Bamgboye averaged 4.7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game with a season-high of 13 points, twice, coming against New Orleans and Iowa State having bookended the season as a starter.
Thursday, 19th March vs BYU [6] – 11:25pm (UK time) – Denver
Freshman big Lewis Obiorah is part of a Texas side that battled through the First Four to reach the main draw, edging past NC State to set up a First Round clash with BYU.
The London native is redshirting his freshman year and won’t see the floor this tournament, but remains part of the Longhorns programme as they look to make a run. With Texas now into the field of 64, Obiorah is still one for British fans to keep an eye on as he continues his development within a high-level NCAA environment.
All games from across the men’s and women’s tournament will be available to watch live on Disney+ with games also available on demand within 48 hours. A subscription starts at £5.99 per month in the UK. Games are also available on DAZN.
