Issy Bunyan helps unbeaten MSU to Big Sky regular season title

Issy Bunyan celebrated winning the Big Sky regular season title as Montana State University moved to 16-0 in conference play.

The Welsh forward added eight points to a 78-49 victory, which ensured the Bobcats have at least a share of the title with two games to play.

Bunyan has been averaging 2.2 points and 1.1 rebounds per game in just 7.3 minutes per game in her sophomore season, having accumulated 131 points in 29 appearances last season.

The former Hoopsfix All-Star Classic MVP – and WBBL Young Player of the Year – recorded a season’s best of nine points against South Dakota in December.

The Bobcats have a 26-2 record overall on the season, and will be looking to wrap up the No.1 seed heading into the conference tournament.
