FunctionAll took down Ankd, 63-46, to be crowned 2024 Hoopsfix Pro-Am champions on Sunday at Brixton Rec, South London.
Peter Turay led his team with a 15-point performance and took all the honours as he was crowned Hoopsfix Pro-Am MVP for the second time in three years. He averaged 13.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.2 steals on 58.1% shooting from the field, leading the tournament in efficiency.
Ankd fell short against FunctionAll, despite making an unbeaten run to reach the final. Brandon Tchouya led his team with a game-high 23 points in the defeat.
Solent Kestrels took third place in their first year at the Hoopsfix Pro-Am with a 71-63, win over Hoopsface.
Max Matthews delivered a big 20-points performance to lead his team. Tyler Fairbairn added 13 points, and John Fairbairn had 12 points.
Damarni Velinor led Hoopspace with 19 points, Jubrile Belo tallied 15 points and nine rebounds in his Pro-Am debut with the team.
London United secured a top-five finish with a 66-57, hard fought victory over Surrey. Afra Khalil tallied 14 points, five rebounds and four assists to lead London United, Mergim Sokoli added 14 points.
Max Coupe’s 20-points performance was not enough to claim fifth spot in Pro-Am as Surrey finished sixth.
OT Boyz sealed seventh place with a win over The Minimum Brand, 67-54. Ty Nsangu led OT Boyz with a dominant 18 points, 15 rebounds double-double performance. James Claar added 19 points and Luke Busumbru had a 11 points, 11 rebounds double-double.
Matthew Disu led his team with 18 points from the bench but it was not enough as TMB finished eighth.
