GB Senior Men reveal 14-man training camp roster

Head Coach Marc Steutel has named 14-man Great Britain roster for the upcoming FIBA EuroBasket 2025 qualifiers this week.

Included in Steutel’s first squad since being confirmed as the permanent Head Coach in June 2023, are four GB squad debutantes in Dan Akin, Jubrile Belo, RJ Eytle-Rock and Josh Ward-Hibbert.

The list marks a return for veteran star Myles Hesson, who missed the most recent window, along with Akwasi Yeboah – one of GB’s strongest performers in Europe in recent years, but has not suited up for GB since 2021 when he received little court time, and Sacha Killeya-Jones.

With London Lions duo Gabe Olaseni and Tarik Philip both missing, along with rising 20-year old star Quinn Ellis – who has broken his foot – the team will have some big holes to fill.

GB face the Netherlands first in a home game on 23 February at the Vertu Arena in Newcastle and will then play the Czech Republic just three days later on 26 February.
